The project will continue to focus on “Kiri-hitoha”
by Tsubouchi Shôyô. Each researcher will strive to gather
information in his specialized field so as to throw light on various
aspects of “Kiri-hitoha“.
> Research Plans for This Year
We are going to conduct research in the following
fields: drama criticism, research history, performing arts, costumes,
and scripts. Also, we will pay close attention to Shôyô’s
own side notes to his work as expressions of his intention about his
work at that time.
